The man
The man who despises another will never be able to make anything of him. Nothing that we despise in the other man is entirely absent from ourselves. We often expect from others more than we are willing to do ourselves. Why have we hitherto thought so intemperately about man and his frailty and temptability? We must learn to regard people less in the light of what they do or omit to do, and more in the light of what they suffer. The only profitable relationship to others – and especially to our weaker brethren – is one of love, and that means the will to hold fellowship with them. God himself did not despise humanity, but became man for men’s sake. ~~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Letters and Papers from Prison

World without end
Bring us, O Lord God, at our last awakening into the house and gate of heaven, to enter into that gate and dwell in that house, where there shall be no darkness nor dazzling, but one equal light; no noise nor silence, but one equal music; no fears nor hopes, but one equal possession; no ends nor beginnings, but one equal eternity; in the habitations of your glory and dominion, world without end. ~~ John Donne (1572-1631)

I repeat Grace works
This is how grace works; it enters the soul, penetrates the heart, saturates the conscience, abides in the memory, affects the affections, gives understanding to the understanding, and imparts real life to the heart, which is the seat of life. ~~ Charles H. Spurgeon

Martha was distracted
Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her." —Luke 10:38-42, NKJV
Of course, it's absolutely essential for us to embrace Christ's mandate to reach out to people and to touch the nations. But this heart of service must be secondary, not primary. The reversal of these priorities was Martha's problem. When Mary and Martha were in their little conflict, Martha was not wrong because she wanted to be a servant. However, her priorities were upside down because her natural self, her natural abilities and interests, compelled her to be a worker before she was a lover. In fact, her work distracted her from being a lover (v. 40). When I see a worker I say to myself, "Well, he's halfway there." But I also understand that such an individual will be a much more effective worker if he or she first becomes a lover.
Many individuals are so focused on enriching their earthly circumstances and pursuing personal comforts that they never get serious about becoming a worker, let alone a lover. ~~ Mike Bickle, Loving God

Tarrying Meetings
Tarrying Meetings
What every happen to the old time “Tarrying Meetings” where sinners hungered for God fasted, repented and prayed for the infilling of the Holy Ghost? Where people stayed on their knees day and night heart searching and dedicating them self until they got it. Do not seek a gift but seek and hunger for the giver himself – Jesus the Christ. Plan on living a disciplined life style of holiness and righteousness.

Freedom
Sin creates the illusion of freedom. In the end it fools us into seeking freedom from God rather than finding freedom in God. ~~ Erwin Raphael Mc Manus, Uprising, A Revolution of the Soul
