Martin Luther King

             In his last speech before his assassination in Memphis Martin Luther King inspired his followers.  “I have been to the mountain top… I’ve looked over and seen the Promised Land.  I may not get there with you, but I want you to know tonight that we, as a people, will get to the Promise Land.  So I am happy tonight … I’m not fearing man.  ‘Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.’”
